Regional Director Emily Bloom was vital to founding Viget’s Durham, NC office in July, 2007, and Boulder, CO office during the summer of 2011. She has gradually become more focused on heading up our recruiting efforts, therefore having a huge impact on the company's growth and success. For most Viget-hopefuls, Emily is their first point of contact and while she loves the chance to tell (and re-tell!) the Viget story, her favorite part of the job is quickly getting to know all the talented applicants we hear from. Emily participates in the Triangle area’s larger web community and has been instrumental in the establishment and evolution of Refresh the Triangle.
Away from Rigsbee Ave., Emily is eating whatever her husband Jon is cooking (and saving the leftovers!), walking her super lazy dog, Maisy, or building incredible Lego structures with her son, Bruce. She avoids TV, adores ice cream, and can't stop reading when she finds a book she likes.
