Your cheat sheet for going from internship applicant to intern.

Attention, internship applicants!

We’re actively hiring for our 18th summer internship cohort, and we want you to get the job. Here’s the secret: you’ll have to do more than click a single button.

Our many impressive alumni can attest that it’s worth it, like Silvana Martinez, a 2026 Viget Product Design Intern and current University of Maryland student:

“It was incredibly encouraging and rewarding to learn from people who are not only excellent at what they do, but are also kind and willing to help. As a student early in my career, being surrounded by people like that made learning feel exciting.”

Viget interns go on to work at places like Humana, DraftKings, and Work&Co, and we’re proud to be part of their success. Best of all, some interns land full-time roles here at Viget, like Natalie, Sadie, and Anabel on our Dev, PM, and Design teams, respectively.

A little bit about us…

We’re a small team of ~55 creatives, engineers, and strategists who work together to build impressive digital products and platforms. We work with a variety of clients, including non-profit organizations like NPF and HRC, startups, product companies like Robinhood, and media organizations like ESPN.

As an intern, you’ll have full access to the talented folks behind the great work we do. You’ll join real client meetings, get 1:1 mentorship from a leader in their field, and have unmatched professional development opportunities, including a peer project where you can leave your mark on Viget for years to come.

You’ll also have full access to our culture. You’ll attend weekly company-wide meetings, a quarterly all-hands event, and experience our vibrant Boulder office in addition to our remote-first agency life.

Ready to apply?

Great! Here’s how you can make the most of your application.

  1. Spend quality time applying. This means reading our listings, internships page, and supplementary links in full. You’ll be asked to submit a 2-minute video. While the video can be casual (no suit and tie required), it should be presentable. Make sure your camera is focused, you’re in a well-lit space, and you have a non-distracting background. Your audio should be clear. Pro tip: practice what you plan to say a few times before you record. Record yourself more than once if you need to. Make sure you look and sound like yourself. Authenticity goes a long way.
  2. Address your recruiter. Real humans will review your application. Most likely it will be me, Director of Employee Engagement, Aubrey Lear! While a cover letter isn’t mandatory, it can be a good way to put your best foot forward beyond the standard requirements. That said, if you choose to write one, make it worthwhile. Address the letter to the person who will be reading it: me. Share information beyond what you’ve already shared in your application and resume. Pro tip: connect the dots between the experiences on your resume and your explicit interest in Viget, digital products, and/or agency life.
  3. Understand restrictions and expectations. We are seeking undergraduate college students; while anyone currently enrolled in an undergraduate program may apply, we will prioritize juniors and seniors. You must also have a permanent, legal right to work in the US. This is an in-person, 10-week program. You must be available to work in person full-time throughout the duration of the internship, and if you accept the position, we expect you to honor the commitment. Pro tip: If you do not match these requirements, please do not apply. While we appreciate your interest in Viget, you will make a better impression if you follow these expectations and apply for a role that best aligns with your experience and eligibility.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you. Be in touch and bookmark viget.com/internships to stay up to date on future opportunities.
