Awwwards Conference 2019: A Recap

Three(ish) weeks ago, Ally Fouts, Julia Thummel, and I went to the Awwwards conference in San Francisco. 

I came back inspired to take risks and try new things...which I promptly applied to the extraordinarily low-risk task of writing a conference recap.

Somewhere along the way, it turned into a "choose your own adventure" type of experience, mostly because I wanted to play with Storyboard.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Storyboard, it's an online tool that lets you easily build interactive fiction (or, in my case, non-fiction) in your browser. It was concocted during a Pointless Weekend (a magical event where Vigets take risks, try new things, and enjoy free pizza). 

So, here it is: possibly the first (and probably the last) "choose your own recap."
