Quantitative UX Researcher
Viget is an independent digital agency that has been branding, designing, and building digital products and platforms since 1999. Our culture is ideal for lifelong learners seeking a variety of meaningful work, supportive collaboration with positive teammates, and a healthy work/life balance. We work from four sweet offices (hybrid) and remote locations throughout the U.S., and utilize a proven cadence of virtual and in-person meetings and retreats to build comradery and stay connected. We love our team.
At Viget, Quantitative UX Researchers produce compelling insights and recommendations that result from rigorous analysis. Their findings improve clients’ businesses and users’ experiences. The ideal candidate embraces a mixed-methods mindset and is excited to work as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to shape digital products and experiences.
As a Quantitative UX Researcher, you will:
Collaborate closely with internal, cross-discipline project teams and client stakeholders, helping them use data to make effective decisions.
Design and execute research studies integrating a variety of quantitative methods such as surveys, behavioral data analysis, and multivariate testing. You might be a mixed-methods researcher, however your primary strength is in quantitative research.
Clean and analyze data from analytics tools, clickstream tools, user surveys, CRMs, and public data sets. Use tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for data manipulation and statistical analysis as needed.
Synthesize findings and articulate insights in a compelling and actionable way. You will not only share what the data says, but what it means for the project and how it should influence the strategy.
Influence the work of disciplines like product design, brand strategy, and development. You will help your teammates leverage your insights by actively participating in and contributing to the creative process.
Work flexibly and efficiently, exercising a balance between research rigor and speed.
Consistently meet deadlines and are considerate of clients’ project budgets and timelines.
Take pride in listening, communicating, and collaborating exceptionally well.
In a given week, you might:
Work with clients to define research questions and goals for an upcoming study.
Analyze the results of a multivariate test you conducted on an ecommerce site.
Collaborate with teammates to generate strategic product recommendations.
Conduct generative user interviews with small business owners as part of a discovery effort.
Assist with internal research like analyzing employee engagement data.
