FALLS CHURCH, VA –  Brian Williams, CEO of Viget Labs – a dynamic, full-service web consulting company based in Falls Church, VA – was featured on Oct. 27, 2007, on Clear Channel's Business Destiny radio show, WTNT 570 AM.

Williams joined SAIC's Hart Rossman and Livingston Communication’s Geoff Livingston in discussing "The New New Internet – Web 2.0 Technologies and Business Impacts."

Williams focused on the opportunities that today's web affords forward-thinking businesses. Effective recruiting, for example, which is always a challenge in the DC region, has changed dramatically even in the past year, especially in targeting young employees.

"Social networking sites like Facebook can be extremely effective for finding and connecting with talent," he said.  "These tools aren't difficult to use – for many recruiters, it's simply a matter of awareness."

The topic was especially beneficial to Business Destiny's core audience:  CEOs and business owners. Williams touched on some of the latest web tools that managers could explore to help find their next generation of leaders.

"It was cool to share some fresh perspective with what is no doubt a fairly old-school audience.  I just hope my references to Twitter and Ajax inspired them to learn more."

The discussion leads "The New New Internet" conference being held in Reston, VA, on Thursday, Nov. 1, at which Rossman and Livingston are speaking.
