On Thursday, November 20, Rocky Mountain Digital Project Managers will get together for another great presentation from a local Digital Project Manager.

About the Meetup

RMDPM board member Josh Zapin, Principal at AEZ Group (an ecommerce and digital marketing consultancy), will lead a discussion on wearable technology. From the Apple Watch to the Samsung Gear to the Motorola Moto 360 to Google Glass, it seems that what you wear on your body is the next frontier of computer human interaction. Instead of merely having your technology in your pocket, you will wear it in the form of a watch, or glasses. While this portion of our industry is exploding, is it really the next  “big thing?” During the meeting, Josh will share the current state of the industry and engage the group in a discussion to understand what this new technology truly means for us.

About Josh

Josh is a versatile leader in ecommerce and digital marketing organizations with nearly 20 years of experience leading complex global initiatives and guiding organizational change. He’s a passionate problem solver who has authored many project methodologies and  established dozens of cost-saving procedures, while leading dozens of teams and projects to turn the impossible into a reality.

Prior to AEZ Group, Josh was the Director of Global ecommerce Operations at Crocs. He was responsible for leading Program Management, Project Management, and operational excellence for a $100+million global organization.

About the Rocky Mountain Digital Project Managers Meetup: We are Project Managers working in the internet industry. Our titles aren't necessarily Project Manager, but it's certainly a common responsibility we have at work. We want to discuss with other Boulder Project Managers how they handle challenges, what tools they use, and what tips they might have to share. We meet on the fourth Thursday of every month, and try to regularly mix in discussions with presentations.
