Jackson has worked as a designer, developer, and strategist helping startups and entrepreneurial organizations turn ideas into engaging, usable products. A recovering academic, he has an MS in Information Science from UNC Chapel Hill, where he studied the psychology of HCI and social interaction design. In addition to his work at Viget, Jackson is an active volunteer in the UX community, having worked with local groups in North Carolina and Louisiana, and currently participating in web projects for the IA Summit conference.
After 10 years kicking around North Carolina and Louisiana, Jackson is happy to be back in Boulder, but misses good southern cooking. In his spare time he can be found playing boardgames with his wife and chasing after his son Max.
