Jackson Fox joins the Durham office as resident usability nerd and user experience designer, ready to throw down boxes and arrows (in OmniGraffle, admittedly) at a moment's notice. Jackson, whose been a southerner for six years after moving from out west, is a recovering computer scientist whose been building websites and obsessing over the web since 1997-ish. His many geeky interests include online identity, social software, the psychology of human-computer interaction, and wikis.
Although mild mannered designer by day, he leads a secret double life -- stalking the darkened halls of UNC Chapel Hill in search of his PhD in Information and Library Science by night.
In his meager spare time, Jackson can be found cooking, reading, and getting schooled in Mario Kart by his wife Erica.
