Project Manager Intern

Project Managers at Viget work collaboratively with clients to understand organizational goals, define solutions, answer hard questions, and facilitate logistics with clients and internal teams. As our Project Manager Intern, you’ll learn from our Project Management Team about working with clients and leading a variety of projects from kickoff through the celebratory finish line.

You'll experience all aspects of a digital project by working with members of other discipline teams. You'll join client meetings to experience presentations and consultations firsthand. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to client work and internal Viget initiatives, and you'll meet regularly with your Advisor to discuss your progress on personalized learning goals.

The Basics

• The internship program is offered at all four of our office locations (Falls Church, VA; Durham, NC; Chattanooga, TN; and Boulder, CO) with flexibility to WFH (Work From Home) some of the time.

• The internship lasts 10 weeks, from June 5 to August 11.

• Interns will be expected to work 40 hours/week (usually 9-5, M-F, but we can be somewhat flexible).

• Relocation is not provided.

About You (You may not have all of these, and that's okay!)

• You’re a strong communicator and are eager to collaborate with peers. You’d enjoy working alongside developers, user experience strategists, and designers to learn how we produce quality digital products and software.

• You are known for your organizational prowess. You have an awareness of and appreciation for details.

• You're passionate about technology. You're the first among your friends to know about the latest trends, methods, and tools in the web and tech industries.

• You get things done. No matter what you're doing, you take pride in your work. You enjoy responsibility and you know that real effort pays off daily.

• You are currently enrolled in college, preferably as a junior or senior. We also consider graduate students and recent grads in some cases.

• You have a track record of holding leadership positions, balancing school and work, or other equivalent examples of success.

• You have the permanent, legal right to work in the US. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.

Benefits

• We offer $550/week ($5,500/summer), paid monthly on a pro rata basis. Course credit is also an option.
