FALLS CHURCH, VA - The Fairfax County Convention and Visitors Corporation, widely known as "FXVA" in the metropolitan Washington Region, kicked off its much-anticipated summer tourism campaign today. Key components of this season's campaign to attract summer visitors to Fairfax County hotels, attractions, and activities are two web-related initiatives developed and executed by Viget Labs.

Visit www.fxva.com to check out a new custom vacation planning tool that matches local activities, museums, and attractions with a user's specific areas of interest. As well, through August 15th, 2006, navigate through a Flash-driven online treasure hunt for a chance to win an Infiniti FX35.

"We love working with clients who have big ideas, and burying a car to attract tourists to our great county certainly qualifies. Helping to shape -- and then implement -- the online portion of FXVA's summer promotion strategy has been very rewarding," says Brian Williams, CEO & Founder of Viget Labs.

Viget Labs has worked closely with FXVA since early 2005 to enhance its web initiatives and currently provides web analytics, email marketing, pay-per-click advertising, and web site development and maintenance support to the organization.
