Holy Cross Family Ministries Portal and Online Store Launched

ARLINGTON, VA (October 22, 2001) — Viget Labs, an Arlington-based provider of web-based software solutions, has announced the launch of its latest client portal -- for Holy Cross Family Ministries. With this most recent project, Viget Labs has helped HCFM provide a comprehensive online spiritual resource site that serves both the English- and Spanish-speaking communities.

In addition to building a pleasing and easily-navigable interface, the portal site has a custom content management system that allows HCFM to easily maintain the site's content, allowing daily updates of international news, prayer suggestions, and the Cause of Canonization fo HCFM's founder, Father Patrick Peyton, CSC. "We're pleased to have been able to work closely with HCFM to customize web site administration features that save them time, eliminate some of their day-to-day frustration, and allow for easy update by non-IT staff," said Andy Rankin, Viget Labs co-founder.

The Holy Cross Family Ministries web site features a custom-built online store, a permission-based content management system, and parallel content in both English and Spanish. The HCFM portal also provides a central gateway to HCFM's individual ministries: Family Rosary, the Father Peyton Family Institute, Family Rosary International, and Family Theater Productions, a leading production studio for whom Viget Labs built a parallel web site.
