Backstreet Boys Get Bigger, Better Web Site
FALLS CHURCH, VA - After launching a simple transition site last September, Viget Labs today re-launched the Backstreet Boys' official web site, www.backstreetboys.com. The new site features extensive content, including candid photos and journal entries from the Boys, audio clips from their forthcoming album Never Gone, and all of the latest tour dates and ticket information.
Taking fan input to a new level, the Backstreet Boys have invited fans to help put the finishing touches on the new album by submitting their own amateur photos through the site. 100 of the submissions will be selected at random for use in the liner notes, tour posters, and other promotional materials.
Early response has been positive. The number of site visitors quickly surged to 12-times the average, buoyed in part by fans spreading the word through a tell-a-friend feature which allows them to select and send their favorite band member photos. More than 90 percent of visitors who submitted feedback through the Viget Labs survey interface were "very" or "extremely" satisfied with the new site.
