Let’s Talk About:

Getting Started with Site Performance

By Liz Roknich, Former Digital Analyst

Site performance can seem like an obscure term – everyone has a slightly different definition of it and there's an endless number of factors that can impact it. At a high level, site performance refers to site speed. In practice, it means your users enjoy using the product. As former Front End Developer Doug Avery said, It's just a feeling users have about the product. But what exactly is that feeling and how do you achieve it?

We think and talk (and write!) about this a lot at Viget. My colleague, Jeremy Frank, is hosting a webinar tomorrow that will provide an overview of what makes a site perform well, how to keep it fast and stable, and why it matters for your business.

Viget has a very active bookclub, especially this year, so we decided to extend it to VigeKids! This has been a great way to encourage a love of reading and offer Viget parents' an activity for their students.
