    • Laptop and laptop charger if traveling in, Monday and Tuesday.
      • We are encouraging everyone to not bring their laptops to TTT (Wednesday - Friday). Let’s take a break from the screen and connect face to face. Unless you are a speaker, or your manager has instructed you to bring your laptop for your offsite, please plan to travel laptop free.
    • Travel entertainment. Don’t forget to pack and charge your Kindle, a deck of cards, or a good book to read.
    • Travel comforts. Ear plugs, travel pillow, airport safe snacks.

FAQ

What's TTT?

  • TTT = Third Third Thursday, our way of saying "quarterly all-hands meeting".
  • Traditionally, Viget hosts four all-hands meetings a year. In the winter, we host a virtual event with the entire company. In the summer, these events are "local only" – roundtable style discussion with your local office teammates. In spring and fall, they are in-person all-hands events where we bring all of our teammates together in one location. These tend to feel more conference-like. No matter the season, each quarter we connect as a company, share progress and goals, and do something fun.

Why Viget23?

  • For a while now, we've named our Spring TTTs after the year we were celebrating. It's always easy to remember since we were founded in December of 1999 and celebrate our collective Vigeversary the following spring. So, since it's 2023 our spring TTT is named Viget23.

What's Viget Week?

  • Viget Week or "TTT Week" is the week leading up to our Spring and Fall events. Our remote, Boulder and Chattanooga teammates will be descending upon Durham and HQ. In addition to in-person collaboration and lab specific focus time, we host alumni and family picnics (in the fall), game nights, and waffle breakfasts. 
  • You can expect to see optional Vigety events scheduled throughout the week in addition to TTT, project specific work, and dedicated team time.

How should I track my time for Offsites and Viget23?

  • Wednesday -  track 8 hours* to Professional Development for your offsite.
  • Thursday - track 8 hours* to General for Viget23.
  • Friday - track 8 hours* to General for Viget23.

* Track your actual travel time on any travel day to Travel - Internal Travel (or a project if you’re billing during travel).

If you are a Viget23 presenter and you work additional time on Wednesday or Thursday (up early for presentation prep, etc.), please track your actual time spent on prep to Professional Development (in addition to the offsite + Viget23 hours above).

How should I track my expenses for Viget23?
