Tinner Hill
The Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation was founded in 1997 to preserve the early civil rights history of Falls Church and its vicinity. As the Foundation's neighbor and with a shared pride for the City of Falls Church, Viget was honored to work with Tinner Hill on a pro-bono basis to create a new web site. Our first priority was to promote its annual Blues Festival, but we also wanted the new site to raise the Foundation's profile and familiarize the community with its work beyond the Festival. We started by developing a logo that could accommodate variation by including (or not) the name of an upcoming event. Our goal for the site design was to achieve a simultaneous sense of historic maturity and youthful vibrancy. The site came together well and, based on feedback, seems to be serving Tinner Hill's mission to positively impact the Falls Church community.
