Loladex
Loladex – which is still in beta -- helps users tap into their social network and editorial reviews to find the best local spots for everything from coffee shops to car repair to dentistry. Loladex returns results based on personal relevance, so the recommendations from that user’s friends and selected sources bubble to the top. They gave Viget a thumbs-up to build this Facebook app in Ruby on Rails. We ensured the clean, vibrant design was complemented by an in-depth, intuitive user experience. It's still early, but hundreds of Facebook users already are recommending the best local hot spots to everyone in their networks, and Loladex couldn’t be happier. (And neither can we!)
