Ooh! Trés sexy. It looks like one-page, sliding sites are becoming a trend. The sliding effects of this site are cleverer than some others I’ve seen though. Maybe it’s just that it scrolls horizontally *and* vertically.

Do you require your designers to be on site in Falls Church at all times? I know of some pretty solid talent in the DC and Maryland are that would make a lousy commute even worse at 8 and 6 every day…

Yes, we’re looking for designers (and other roles) who can work in our office either in Falls Church, VA or Durham, NC. We do a lot of brainstorming and collaborating and find that having people together in-person is most effective.

We’re all very aware of the commute issue, though, and we offer flex time to help address it (core hours are 10-4). Several folks on the team now live in DC or Maryland and the flex time option serves them well. I’m sure they’d be up for talking about their experiences with anyone thinking about applying.
