FALLS CHURCH, VA (September 30, 2002) — Viget Labs, a Northern Virginia web systems technology firm, worked closely with the founder of the Association for Safer Kids (ASK) to design and build a web site to promote the organization’s child safety goals. ASK serves as a virtual community network to disseminate official alerts about child-related crimes on an area-specific basis.
"We are proud to have played a small part in this organization’s emergence as a critical player in protecting our nation’s children," said Brian Williams, Viget Labs founder and engagement manager for the ASK project. "Time is the most essential element in solving many child-related crimes—and applying technology to compress the amount of time needed to bring awareness to a situation and to greatly impact a successful outcome is very gratifying."
