About Viget's User Experience Lab

Creating effective user experiences requires a balance of empathy, just enough creativity, sharp design acumen, an eye for detail, and a deep knowledge of how the web works. As the User Experience Lab at Viget, we believe strongly that there's no one perfect process that will help you find that balance. As a result, we're constantly exploring new methods, new practices, and obsessively exploring the web so that we can help our clients build the best products they can. Of course, we think it's a heck of a lot of fun too.

So, in this blog, we want to share our explorations with you. You'll find:

  • Interesting User Experience related links and articles from around the web.
  • Product design discussions, helping to clarify what is and isn't working on the web today.
  • Meditations on our experiments with new user research and design methods.
  • Thoughts and critiques on the evolving practices of IA and interaction design on the web.
  • The occasional ranting and raving about bad usability.
